THE STORY OF A ONE OF A KIND DIAMOND AND GOLD LARIAT NECKLACE
A client came to us to commission a one of a kind piece to commemorate an important birthday and 25 years of marriage. He wanted the piece to be a total surprise for his wife. He liked the idea of a two-toned piece and something that she could wear everyday. He suggested a lariat. We started designing and wanted to create something entirely new with special and meaningful details that could be worn casually or dressed up. Discover the designs and see the finished piece below.
DESIGN INSPIRATION
The below designs are similar to the final design that our client chose. These designs started out as a play on a hoodie drawstring toggle. Why not dress up your hoodie with diamonds, gemstones and precious metals that function the same way?
THE FINAL DESIGNS
This diamond and gold lariat necklace features so many beautiful design details. The center toggle features a very subtle star framing the round diamond in the center. The end caps feature a mix of baguette and pavé diamonds.
THE FINAL PIECE
The final piece is an absolutely stunning and unique diamond and gold lariat necklace. Made with 295 round and baguette diamonds totaling nearly 5 carats and platinum and 18k yellow gold for a unique two-toned look. The subtle star pattern adds a special detail only visible when looking closely. We're sure this necklace will become a meaningful heirloom that our client will wear with memories of sweet surprises and important milestones.
