One
of
our
latest
custom
commissions
was
a
beautiful
double-strand
pearl
bracelet
with
an
engraved
gold
disc
at
the
center.
It
was
a
symbolic
wedding
gift
using
pearls
that
were
reset
from
a
necklace
that
belonged
to
the
bride's
mother.
This
bracelet
is
sure
to
become
an
instant
heirloom
with
special
details
like
engraved
ferns
on
the
gold
disc
to
represent
the
bride's
style
and
her
mom's
initials
on
the
back
to
create
a
beautiful
link
between
generations.

THE IDEA AND DESIGN
We
designed
this
piece
using
a
strand
of
pearls
that
had
been
purchased
for
the
bride's
mom
in
Japan.
It
was
very
important
to
our
client
that
the
pearls
transformed
into
something
that
matched
the
bride's
style
which
was
described
as
"kind
of
rustic,
but
also
reflected
the
beauty
of
her
mom's
legacy".
The
engraving
of
ferns
commemorated
the
bride's
outdoorsy
style
and
wedding
venue,
while
an
engraving
of
her
mom's
initials
added
a
special
touch
and
is
a
beautiful
tribute
to
her.
The
engraving
of
the
ferns
was
done
by
hand,
a
skill
that
is
quickly
becoming
a
lost
art.
THE FINAL PIECE
The
final
piece
is
an
incredibly
beautiful
and
highly
personal
heirloom,
so
much
more
than
your
average
pearl
bracelet.
We
love
the
idea
of
connecting
loved
ones
throughout
generations
through
jewelry
and
this
piece
does
this
perfectly.
Our
client
wrote
that
she
hoped
the
bride
would
wear
this
at
her
wedding
to
have
her
mom
there
with
her.
This
is
truly
the
most
beautiful
part
of
creating
custom
jewelry.
It
is
so
much
more
than
just
a
bracelet
but
a
symbolic
link
and
way
to
hold
our
loved
ones
close,
even
when
they
aren't
physically
with
us.
