This stunning diamond and sapphire engagement ring can be customized in a number of ways. We liked the idea of an inky but brilliant blue sapphire baguette track looping around a round diamond or sapphire, set in 18 karat white gold and plated with a dark rhodium.

The diamond version is designed to hold a 2.5 carat round diamond with approximately 4.0 carats of custom-cut sapphire baguettes, estimated at $49,250. The 18k white gold and sapphire ring would hold a 2.85 carat round blue sapphire, estimated at $27,750.

A note on our diamonds

They are all beautiful. I know that's to be expected, but the level of curation and selection that goes into the diamonds offered here is very special.

First, each is excellent cut, as graded by Gemological Institute of America, which means it has been cut to exacting proportions in order to find the best cross-section of light dispersion, polish, and symmetry.

Second, we have eliminated all diamonds with fluorescence, an attribute that can give even the highest clarity diamonds a hazy appearance.
