2025 Year in Review

2025 Jewelry Year in Review

A LOOK BACK: DISCOVER OUR FAVORITE JEWELRY, DESIGNS AND TRENDS FROM 2025

2025 was a year defined by intention. Across fine jewelry and engagement rings, clients gravitated toward pieces that felt expressive, wearable, and deeply personal, designs chosen not for trend alone, but for longevity and meaning. At Lindsey Scoggins Studio, the year reflected a growing desire for individuality, craftsmanship and modern heirlooms. Below, we revisit the jewelry movements that shaped 2025 and continue to influence what’s next. As 2025 comes to a close, one thing is clear, jewelry has become more personal, more intentional and more expressive than ever before. Trends may evolve, but craftsmanship, storytelling and individuality remain at the heart of meaningful design. We’re honored to create jewelry that reflects where you’ve been and where you’re going. Discover some of our favorite jewelry and engagement ring trends of 2025 below.

YELLOW DIAMOND RINGS

Yellow diamond rings took the spotlight in 2025, offering a fresh yet timeless alternative to traditional white diamonds. From soft champagne hues to vibrant fancy yellows, these stones brought warmth, individuality and quiet confidence to engagement rings and statement designs alike. Set in yellow gold or platinum, yellow diamonds felt both modern and enduring, a reflection of clients seeking something distinctive without sacrificing elegance. This also aligned perfectly with De Beers Desert Diamonds campaign.

STATEMENT NECKLACES

Necklaces took center stage in 2025. Sculptural gold chains, bold pendants and unique diamond designs became focal points rather than finishing touches. Worn alone or layered with intention, statement necklaces added confidence and artistry to everyday style. These pieces blurred the line between fine jewelry and wearable sculpture and are designed to command attention while remaining effortless. We loved this step away from the ultra traditional tennis necklace styles to something with so much more personality.

BEZEL SET ENGAGEMENT RINGS

Bezel set engagement rings continued to define modern romance and rise in popularity, solidifying their place as a modern classic. Loved for their clean lines, secure settings and architectural appeal, bezels resonated with couples seeking understated sophistication. Our Shield Collection exemplified this shift, balancing protection and polish with sculptural elegance. Bezel settings proved that minimal design can still feel deeply intentional. We loved how our clients customized these designs with unique personal touches like two-toned metals, additional diamond details and wide bands.

PERSONALIZED DETAILS

Personalized pieces became essential and customization extended far beyond engagement rings in 2025. Clients embraced personalized jewelry through engraved details, symbolic motifs, birthstones, and custom proportions that reflected individual stories. These pieces were subtle yet meaningful, designed for daily wear and emotional connection. Personalized fine jewelry continued to be the foundation of modern collections, not an add-on. We love subtly adding engraving to pieces like our Note to Self bangles or to the back of a pendant like on this evil eye medallion.

THREE STONE RING SETTINGS

Three stone engagement rings reemerged in 2025 with a refined, contemporary perspective. Symbolizing the past, present, and future, these designs offered both meaning and versatility. Clients opted for thoughtful stone pairings mixing shapes, proportions, and even gemstone accents, resulting in rings that felt symbolic without being traditional.

RESET ENGAGEMENT RINGS

One of the most meaningful trends of 2025 was the continued rise of engagement ring resets. Clients chose to reimagine existing stones, whether heirloom diamonds or original engagement rings, into designs that better reflected their current style and life stage. Resets honored history while embracing the present, transforming sentimental pieces into modern heirlooms meant to be worn every day. The bezel setting and three stone trend was also a favorite for our reset clients.
