You never forget your first glimpse of the New York City skyline, whether you grew up here or got here as fast as you could. It's at once breathtaking and heart bursting. The possibilities, the diversity, the no-nonsense pace - these are the reasons 8 million people cram themselves into the five boroughs. Every day there's a new inspiration.

This year we've been especially inspired by the city's resilience and the (by no means surprising) habit New York has of maintaining the magic amidst crisis. Everyone should be so lucky to hear the applause that has engulfed the streets at 7pm each night to honor the healthcare workers as they change shifts. The largest city in the country feels like a tight-knit community waving to each other from their windows across the street. If you, like many others, haven’t been here in a while, New York is still the same beacon of hope and optimism, brimming with opportunity. We can’t wait to see you again.

A must see experience you can only get in New York: Manhattanhenge, the urban phenomenon occurring when the sunrise and sunset align with the Manhattan street grid. These each happen twice a year around the summer and winter solstices and the skyline transforms to a glistening kaleidoscope of rays and windows, like a glowing yellow gemstone.

CENTRAL PARK LOOP

Central Park is the best escape from the city within the city. Our diamond and emerald necklace resembles the actual loop of the path through the park but also reminds us that we're always on the go in NYC. Even if you're stuck in traffic, you're still going places.

ENERGY BANGLE AND BAND

The glow of the moon on a snowy evening in the city is unmistakable. When the sidewalks are covered in a blanket of white and the streets are still except for the soft fall of new flakes, the moon peeks out from behind the skyline and lights your way to wherever the night may take you.

New York is one of the only cities in the country where you can occasionally live in the clouds. If that's not magical enough, you should see the city on a day with no clouds in the sky from atop a skyscraper. As the song goes, on a clear day, you can see forever.
