Your Axis collection engagement ring will arrive with all of the paperwork you need to secure insurance and certify the authenticity of your ring and all of the materials used. We work directly with the International Gemological Institute (IGI). They are the leading global appraisal lab for fine jewelry and engagement rings. Your ring will arrive with an IGI appraisal that will validate the quality of the materials and estimate a replacement value. It also includes a screening process to confirm that every diamond is natural and not lab grown. Your center diamond will be graded by GIA, and that certificate will also be included in your package. This independent appraisal from IGI is all the paperwork you need to secure insurance for your jewelry. We recommend Jewelers Mutual as a jewelry insurance provider. It is possible to add jewelry insurance to a homeowners policy but there are caveats that come with that including not having control over where your ring replacement comes from. Jewelers Mutual makes the entire process seamless and we are also a policy holder of theirs so your ring would be sent back to us to remake in a worst case scenario. Your final ring will arrive with your GIA certificate and IGI appraisal so it is simply ready to wear and enjoy. Learn more about our process here.
